¼ cup olive oil
3 cloves minced garlic
1 medium onion, chopped
Crushed red pepper flakes
2 small cans minced clams, well drained (save the juice)
1 cup clam broth
½ cup dry whit wine
¼ cup chopped fresh parsley
fresh ground black pepper to taste
1 lb. linguine, cooked according to package directions
INSTRUCTIONS
Heat oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
Add garlic, onion, wine and crushed red pepper flakes, and sauté until onions are soft.
Add clam broth and simmer until slightly thickened.
Add clams and parsley and simmer to heat through.
Add fresh ground black to taste.
Add linguine to the pan and toss well.
