Sparkling Summer Sangria

Crisp, light, and fruity, this sparkling white sangria contains less alcohol than most traditional sangrias, making it a refreshing choice when you want some alcohol but not too much.

INGREDIENTS

1 lemon, thinly sliced

1 orange, thinly sliced

1 cup sliced strawberries

½ cup blueberries (grapes can be substituted)

750 ml bottle dry white wine such as Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio, chilled

24 oz. sparkling water

8 fresh strawberries

INSTRUCTIONS

Wash and dry all fruit before slicing. Add the fruit to a large pitcher. Pour the wine and sparkling water over the fruit, and stir well. Refrigerate for several hours. Serve sangria in a wine glass and garnish with a fresh strawberry.
