Hash Brown Potato Casserole

INGREDIENTS

2 lb. bag frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed

½ cup chopped onion

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

2 cups sour cream (regular or lite can be used)

1 can cream of chicken, mushroom or onion soup 

Pepper to taste

5 tbsp melted butter

Panko bread crumbs 


INSTRUCTIONS 

Mix all ingredients except bread crumbs and 1 tbsp melted butter together in a large bowl.


Place in a greased 3 quart baking dish.


Cover the top of the casserole with bread crumbs and drizzle with remaining tablespoon butter.


Bake at 350°F for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
